As the Director of NYC Good Food Purchasing Policy (GFPP) Campaign at Community Food Advocates, Ribka directs, mobilizes, and sustains the NYC GFPP Coalition and any activities related to advancing the adoption of the GFPP here in NYC. She has spent her career guided by the quest for justice as is reflected by her time both with the Innocence Project, working on wrongful-conviction exoneration cases, and the Center for NuLeadership on Urban Solutions, where she worked to harness community power as a way of informing and sparking policy transformation. She has also utilized food-systems knowledge to create culinary and food justice education pathways to think creatively about transforming the local food economy.
