Alyse Festenstein is a Sourcing Specialist with Bon Appétit Management Company, a pioneering food service provider that operates more than 1,000 cafes in 33 states for corporations, universities, and specialty venues around the country. In this position Alyse manages the Farm to Fork program – a companywide commitment to purchase at least 20% of ingredients from small farms and food producers within 150 miles of their kitchens. Prior to this role, Alyse was the Manager of Community Partnerships for Bon Appétit at Emory University where she worked alongside a team of 20-plus chefs and managers to increase local and sustainable food purchases through direct partnerships with local farms and food hubs.
