I am a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and have been employed with the Tribe for 16 years. My work trail with MBCI has been diverse and interesting as I have been employed in the field of Planning, Natural Resources, 8A Government work, Recreation, Economic Development, and Choctaw Fresh Produce.
My personal mission within my community is to make sure that no matter what profession that I am employed in; I fulfill my duties to provide the services that I am responsible for the people that rely on those services and needs.
At Choctaw Fresh Produce, we are an organic vegetable producing farm located on the MBCI Indian Reservation. Our focus and goal is producing a sustainable food system on the reservation that produces fresh, locally grown vegetables that are both affordable and accessible to our tribal members.
