Dr. Jennifer Obadia is the Eastern US Director for Health Care Without Harm's Healthy Food in Health Care Program. In this capacity she guides a team to support hospitals in their role to improve regional food systems. This includes transitioning their procurement toward more sustainable and regionally produced foods and engaging in the development of healthy community food systems. Prior to joining HCWH Jennifer managed the Boston Bounty Bucks, SNAP farmers market incentive program. Dr. Obadia also served as adjunct faculty at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University from 2011-2016. Before returning to school for her doctorate Jennifer spent two years working on an organic vegetable farm and another two years working as an outdoor educator. She received her doctorate (2011) in Nutrition from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and her BA (1999) from New York University.
