Marlene Nagel is community development director for the Mid-America Regional Council, the Kansas City metro area's association of local governments and Metropolitan Planning Organization. Marlene has been with the organization since 1974, and has served as department director since 1984. She oversees local government services, emergency services, 911 system coordination, workforce development, public health and other programs.
