Local Foods Program Director / COO
Anna Haas, MA, MEd, is Local Foods Program Director and COO for the regional food hub Local Food Connection. She serves as sourcing lead for the USDA/LFPP-funded "Ohio Valley Food Hubs Project" at Greater Cincinnati's sustainability alliance Green Umbrella. Anna brings 19 years of experience in community-based education, non-profit management, local food, and farming to her work. She collaborates directly with growers, buyers, and partnering organizations to set and execute strategies for long-term relationships that maximize local food purchasing. Local Food Connection's team members like Anna use an online marketplace and grow-to-order planning to work year-round with more than 90 growers and food artisans plus hundreds of institutional, wholesale, and household purchasers in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
