Hannah Weinronk
Real Food Generation
Program Coordinator
Cambridge, Massachusetts
Hannah works with Real Food Generation, harnessing the power of youth and universities to create a food system that truly nourishes all of us. She began organizing for real food as a student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, helping to lead a campaign that won a commitment to 20% real food for one of the largest dining operations in the country. She completed her B.S. and M.P.H. in public health, studying the impacts of our food system on people and communities, and exploring opportunities for change. Today, Hannah oversees the Real Food Standards that define good food on college campuses. She also supports organizing in the Northeast and across the country to challenge higher ed's support for Big Food corporations and white supremacy in the food system, and direct the energy of our generation toward food sovereignty.
