Helga Garza is the Director of Agri-Cultura Network a cooperative of nine South Valley of Albuquerque organic farms and thirty-six family small farms from urban and rural Rio communities of central New Mexico. The Agri-Cultura Cooperative Network promotes an environmental economy by growing produce, using organic and sustainable practices, and addressing the nutritional needs of our communities through local investment. Through Farm to Fork, provides produce to the New Mexico Farm to School program, University of New Mexico Hospital, Day Care Centers, Charter Schools, Healthy Here Mobil Farmers Market, La Cosecha Community Supported Agricultural program. As a farming cooperative we hold a very important role in health and well-being of our community. As farmers we are- responsible to our environment and work to preserve sustainable agricultural practices of New Mexico.
