Ilana Braverman is a Program Manager with Farm Forward, a nonprofit organization that works to implement innovative strategies to promote conscientious food choices, reduce farm animal suffering, and advance sustainable agriculture. Her work with Farm Forward includes working with the Leadership Circle program, where she helps institutions source less and better animal products. Ilana also works with Farm Forward's program, the Jewish Initiative for Animals, where she helps Jewish institutions align their food choices with their Jewish values by creating food policies to support these practices.

Ilana currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a Master's degree in Animals and Public Policy from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, and previously served as Program Associate for a Jewish animal welfare organization, the Shamayim V'Aretz Institute.
