Daniel is an economic development specialist with over a decade of experience in food retail and food systems. He has been active in the design and execution of multiple statewide healthy food financing initiatives including the California FreshWorks Fund and Michigan Good Food Fund, as well as a consultant on a number of high-impact, food-anchored community projects and startup enterprises. In addition to food, investing Daniel has subject matter expertise in bioscience, retail banking, real estate, and place-based investing. He also has deep experience operating in low-income communities and multicultural market segments.
