I am a registered dietitian and work with both individual patients, teach group classes and coordinate our local food initiatives including using locally source foods in the hospital cafeteria and sponsoring 8 school gardens in our service area. I am a founding board member of a local food activist group called the Food and Growers Association. And on the side, my husband and I own and operate a small u-pick naturally raised blueberry farm.
